Wellness … Mind, Body, and DRAG
Join our First Annual fundraiser to foster Mental Wellness through Mind, Body and DRAG.
Come and lend your support to some brave contestants who will challenge themselves to compete for the first time in Amateur Drag asking for your support to raise money for mental-health awareness in our community. They will step out of their shoes and into heels to gain a new perspective on life. Once a winner is crowned, we will all celebrate their Bravery and Drag with performances by professional drag stars from our community. A fun-filled evening with live singing and exciting, entertaining performances.
Hosted by Drag/Dame Hostess with the mostess Shirley Happening. Lend us your support and we will Shirley entertain you.
Proceeds will go to the Supporting Our Youth program.
Our staff have been monitoring provincial and city regulations, and have used this information to create a COVID-19 Safety Package for visitors, artists, and staff while at Buddies. Additionally, all guests will be required to wear a mask and show proof of COVID-19 vaccination to attend Buddies events.
