Ruby is a theatrical thriller about a family of trans/nonbinary Asian and migrant sex workers who act as vigilantes in search of their missing sister. In their quest, they seek the aid of ancestral ghosts and revisit past memories of Ruby to solve the puzzle of her disappearance. This is a story about chosen family and the choices one makes to pursue their dreams; no matter the cost.
Our staff have been monitoring provincial and city regulations, and have used this information to create a COVID-19 Safety Package for visitors, artists, and staff while at Buddies.
